Changes to Subscriptions system
Sever changes have been made to the Subscriptions system:
* The Quick Reply box now has a "Subscribe to thread" checkbox just like the "Reply to post" form. * The "Subscribe to thread" checkbox's used to always be ticked, now this is an option settable from your profile (link in top right of each page). * Emails for subscribed threads is now a settable option in your profile. * Emails for subscribed threads now contain a link to the actual post, rather than just the thread. 19.67*KB If you decide not to get the emails you can still track your subscriptions using the My Subscriptions link (top right of each page). Please report any bugs in the new system to this thread and I will clear them up as quickly as possible. Edit: Unstickied

Useful info. I was getting quite annoyed by all those notification emails.

Question: is it possible to keep track on the first unread post of a thread one is subscribed to? Could that info be used that one jumps automatically to the first unread post (via "my subscriptions")?
Well, no big deal after all, but would be a nice feature. EDIT: What a stockpile of crap that is found in this post... Did not notice that 'arrow' until now - d'oh! |
