Did anybody ever tried training Defesive Positions? I'm contemplating taking a bunch of passable or even inadequate defenders and train them to solid-excellent in friendlies/CDZ cup only. Just specifically how much slower it is?

Meh. I am under the impression all "new" training forms like defensive positioning or wing attack are weaker than the "old" training forms. They are all adapted for the increased number of players (so 5 def plus 5 IM's vs 5 IM's plus 3 forwards), but in addition seem to be weaker. That's from what I recall from the numbers I've seen: I've looked into switching from training wingers to training wing attack, but as I am never going to play with 3 forwards it seemed like a wasted opportunity.

Of course, it is weaker than normal training. The main problem I have with these defensive positions is that my core of midfielders and defenders are not trainable and the league/cup games thus will be wasted for training. I'm just quite desperate about making money and this seems like less hassle and still reasonable profit. I know, best way to make money is to just spend some time in the market and there is really no need to train anything.
I also thought about training defending in solid/excellent keepers instead of defenders due to the question on defending with keepers as discussed here previously. After carefully looking into this, it seems that there is no way to make money with it. Mostly, people just don't care. I guess, performance increase is very marginal, keepers have high salaries, and this defensive position training is quite slow. It might be actually possible to lose money with it.

This one seems to work pretty well. If you have not updated your foxtrick in the last couple of weeks you will have lost most of your tools. Go and get the lastest release and these will come back.

I'm sure this will have been asked and answered but I'm a bit lazy.
If training PM with 3IM's set and 2 wingers, the wingers get 50% PM training correct? If i have the same 2 wingers playing in both friendly/cup and league games can that be cumulative to 100% or is 50% the maximum they are allowed for the week? Alternatively, if I then set them to play in IM for the friendly can they be then bumped up to 100%?

Play a guy at wing both games and he will get 50% PM training
Play a guy at wing one game and PM the other he will get 100% PM training Play a guy for 45 min at wing and 45 min at PM and he will get approx. 75% training for the week. Basically they will get the training from the "best" spot they played in for the week. (90 min max)

This is why I don't train anything with 50% at some positions.
