What to buy for 25 Euro
I was in GameShop on the weekend and had narrowed my choice down to to options for 25 Euro. What would you have bought:

Is Sid Miers the brother of Mike Myers? SCNR
MMhhh, amazon.de ha Railroads for 18 Euro and I have seen it for 20 Euro in a shop around here (but can't remember which) where I was tempted to buy it just because I liked all other Railroad Tycoon games (even those 2 not from Sid) I haven't played any of these three, but if you plain ask my opinion: I'd buy Railroads.

I know i could get it cheaper, but the Mrs said i had to pick something there and then or she would buy me some other rubbish for fathers day.
Well I end up buying railroads cos i liked the demo (3 years ago the cossaks2 demo did not appeal). But as i was playing Railroads last night I longed to watch men standing at 25 yards shoot the hell out each other! Hearts of Iron looked interesting, i might see if there is a demo of that. If its good you'll probably see me sneak back to buy the combo anyway. That'll be three not so new games and no time to play them. |

RR is nice, but I think you should try to multiplayer it for maximum profit. I mean, fun.

HoI2 is probably the best of the series, but takes a lot of time to master. If grand WW2 strategy is your thing, then I'd go for it.

Hm, now that I'm thinking about it, railroads is pretty buggy iirc. To follow up on grahamian: I got Company of Heroes with my new video card, and that's pretty good. Should be in the budget bin by now as well, I guess.
