The last match is in the second week of off season if we play 9 matches.
In the week afterwards, the national cup already starts. So we don't have space for 10 matches.

Indeed, only 2 rounds would be necesarry.

If we do the 8 * 4 there is no sure way to avoid playing a team twice. If we decide to go that way I would prefer teams are placed in there second group instead of drawn. So all top groups have two number two's and two group winners and nonr of them played each other in the first group stage. for the knock out phase I ould suggest the same then and let all the group winners of the second group phase play a number two in the first KO round.

And for once I do not want to play my last match for 15th place as in my three previous entries.

For the coming round of friendlies you mean? Most definately! You can expect a timely announcement on when we're going to start (i.e. a week in advance).

So, now we're talking about it, when are we going to start?

I think this has been made clear in quite some post now... the cup starts in week 7 of the league. The draw for the groups is in 3 days.

yes however there was talk of a different format so therefore i didnt know if the tournament would start earlier.

I will be away from Saturday June 10th until Sunday June 18th. I have no access to the internet during those days. This doesn't mess up things does it? I assume that I can still challenge someone or accept a challenge before and after my holiday?
