Garee, I playtested the Inca and it takes a looooooooooooong time to get of the coastal strip. Removing some of the mountains near Cuzco solves that but it will still be hard to expand because of the jungle there.

Aztecs seem fine to me. I trust others will get the game balanced to make it fun!

IglooDude regretfully had to decline, so I think I'll just edit the map, and upload it here. We know what the map looks like anyway... Unless someone else can (find someone to) edit the map.

I already did some small edits to get the Inca a better starting location so I can proceed with that.

What are the major edits required? From what I've read:
- Some resources only in Europe > Spread them out.
- Remove non-playing civs.
- Give playing civs 2 settlers and a worker.

Another thing easy to do which speeds up the start is granting every player the ancient tech line so there is something to do for the workers.

Anything else?

If you could do that, that would be great! You probably got more experience with editing than I do. I'd give us an extra warrior too. Not extra techs. Tough luck if the worker is waiting for something to do. It's about the fact that you don't have to build one. Concerning resources: IMO they weren't balanced at all in the first place! So give it a good look. I trust your judgement.

Shabbaman could play Egypt and ProPain Mongolia, ok? Then Persia is the only civ left, but that one can start as AI, until we find a final player.
(Civs to be deleted: Vikings, England, France, Spain, Celts, Germany, Greece, Ottomans, Arabia, Carthage, Korea, Japan)

Let's try to start this baby this weekend.

I'm away most of the weekend so not sure if I've finished by then.

B.t.w. should anyone want to try out Pitboss:
Connect with Direct IP to: matrix.kicks-ass.org or 82.73.85.197
Note: this is a normal random game. For the real game you need to load the Earth24 mod before connecting.
