Look what I got from santa today:

Jason Spoorendonk (41993374)
17 jaar, passable in vorm, healthy
Een pleasant guy persoon die balanced en dishonest is.
Hij heeft disastrous ervaring en is een poor leider.

Speciality: Quick

Nationaliteit: Nederland
Total Skill Index (TSI): 690
Wage: 581 €/week
Owner: Shabba FC
Warnings: 0

Stamina: wretched Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: weak
Winger: inadequate Defending: weak
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: weak

At first I only saw the passable scoring and the weak passing. A nice trainee, but nothing special. But then I saw the passable playmaking, plus the inadequate winger. Not that bad. Not super either. I think I'll put him on the list.

Here’s my truly first good youngster, drawn in the first week of the new season, he is on the long list for the national team of Romania and can get there if he is trained properly (winger, playmaker or a combination of the two).

Amazing pull Yndy!

I got a 19 year old solid playmaker 2 weeks ago (of course the bastard is 20 now), but this week I got total crap again.

Amazingly it was sold for 1.7 million Euro!

Since I don't want to promote this season and my trainees are as good as I need, I will not do anything for now (maybe hire some economists) but I will keep an eye out for cheap midfielders or even cheap young forwards.

Why not sell your oldest trainee and get a youngster instead? With 1.7M yu can buy an 18yr old formi/outstanding!
Having the money sitting there is a waste. In 6 weeks that trainee will be worth 600k more! Economists can't do that.

All my trainees will be worth 600k more although it will take 8-9 weeks for the older ones.

On one side I really want to be able to take advantage of cheap buys if I spot them and on the other I'm considering switching training all together in 1.5 seasons so no use in replacing my old folks with younger ones.

Thirdly I'm afraid that prices will drop AGAIN at the middle of the season. All the players that I have bought last season are now cheaper.

I'm worried about the hattrick economic system. To me it appears prices are dropping rapidly. Just look at Kemal's solid forwards.

I think quick training programms are most secure nowadays.
