Thought Matrix would be up first. But starting playing now. At least for a few turns.

1699 AD - Still found nothing bad about removing normal ruins with a pioneer. So I do it.
1700 AD - Moving units. 1701 AD - gabriel Lallemant wants to join. But I guess we won't build that much churches in the time being. So I decline. Take Benjamin Franklin instead (Bells from PP and Newspaper). 1703 AD - Stop here as it's too late to play some more. If someone wants to pick up the save, then go ahead. I might be able to play some more turns on Tuesday.

HI peeps, just popping in to say that I;ve been very busy preparing for an event and that's why I haven't been around the last days. As usual things took longer than expected so last weekend I suddenly had to start on some stuff to be in time. Tomorrow said event will take place so friday will be a lot quieter. Totally prepared to pick up the save then and will if it's available when I log on.

Go ahead, PP!
Had some busy days and today we got Christmas celebration at work. So I think I won't be able to play the final 3 turns of my turnset. Matrix still MIA?

1703 AD - 212 : nothing much. examine cities, move boats, switch one city from political points to newspaper prod. and press enter.
IT: King adds a dragoon, lalamont joins Bolivar. 1704 AD - 213 : start on bell production, move elder statesmen in place and change workers around to ensure food production for them. Send a boat full of stuf to europe. Hurry a expert fishermen in Europe for the last two bells (70G) IT: King adds arty to REF, Marquette wants to join our congress. That's +1 scout movement so I tell him tp find another employer. A whole slew of other contestants comes by, I pick Adams cause he'll up our bell production with the tax rate. Best option for us atm as we want our bells up asap. Frigging French settle on the western island exactly on the spot were I was sending a colonist. 1705 AD - 214 : nothing much. IT: cigar price drops, pity 200 are on their way over. King adds arry to REF 1706 AD - 215 : move some boats. IT: King adds a Man-O-War, send away some useless founding fathers. Doubt about the +3 bells per settlement, but decide it's better to wait for the 25% plus one. 1707 AD - 216 : sell our stuff for 2400G. Buy 2 elder statesmen and load those up with the expert fishermen that was waiting. Found Jamestown o nthe western island. Fishtown produces a colonist. IT : Price of sugar and cotton rises, Jay joins continental congress (+25% bells) 1708 AD - 217 : nothing much. Indians train another expert fishermen for us. Will be awhile before we can pick him up though. IT : King adds soldiers to REF. He wants 320 tribute, I get to laugh in his face. 1709 AD - 218 : move stuff. IT : King adds soldiers to REF and increases tax to 35%. Thanks man, that's 2% extra bell production. 1710 AD - 219 : Set 2 elder statesmen to work in Silverbastiano. We're short 2 food here, so we have to move some food around with wagon trains to here now. Privateer still havent got any victims. Send a fresh colonist to Shabbaville to teach him elder statemen task, but typing this I'm thinking we 're better off making him a soldier. Send a full galleon to Europe. Observation: having picked two founding fathers that use political points I'm thinking we got lucky with a bug. Getting Jay 2 turns after Adams makes me think 1st time the pol points weren't substracted. Will have to check from the starting save to be sure however. Note to next player: - The caravel west of main island is on it's to pick up the expert fishermen. - We need roads connecting our settlements on the western island.

Still lurking, but I haven't checked this thread that frequently lately and guessed you skipped me one or two times, which I don't mind. If you want me to play though, I'll play. It's not a punishment.
I don't know why, but I like this version of Colonization less than the first one.
