Sounds good, though I would maybe suggest that we not do the top teams playing away to not so top teams thing, as you could potentially miss out on a fair bit of stadium income if your too high up the table..I don't mind so much but other mays want the extra bit of cash.
But yeah 10 teams means 9 games, which is perfect as it would take us right up to the end of the season, if we start in the next friendly slot (week 7), though some people may miss the last game due to qualifiers. |

If we start next week, we have 8 matches.
Maybe we should try to aim for 16 teams. Then we could do either 4 groups of 4 teams with home/away matches in each group (6 weeks) and then half final with 1st of each group (and the 2nd of each group play for pplaces 5-8 and so on) Or we could do a double group stage (twice 4x4) Or we could do 2 groups of 8 with 1 match between each team. And then just one final round between equally placed teams. If we get to 8 teams, we could do 3 groups of 6 teams and then 3 KO-rounds. Or whatever...

I would like to have an even number of teams, but I figure something out anyhow.

Indeed, we should hurry. We have 13 teams now. It's not a problem if we lack 3 (or 1) team IMO, it gives the opportunity to replay missed matches.
EDIT: I got a message from Pyknites owner KoningJan (nothing royal about him though) that he might want to participate, but he's still in the cup. Round 9, 6th division mind you... wednesday he's playing the current leader of the highest division.

Are the first round matches likely to be on the 1st?
