Shame you won't get much money for him.

Yeah, it's a real pity. I could've used the money... but I can use him as a winger or wingback back up. After several weeks of drafting utter crap this is a relieve.

I like the youth squad. Invested the max in it as soon as I could and I'm almost on excellent. Already pulled a few good players from it that I've either sold or trained.

I find the best way to think about the youth system is expect to pull crap each week. Most weeks you do but then just when you've almost lost faith in it I always tend to pull a decent player.

I think I've been fairly luck in my pulls but I wouldn't expect to pull many decent players till you get to excellent level and even then only occasionally. Imo it definately pays for itself over the course of a season in sellable players or kept trainees.

I got this one last sunday, and due to some injuries and suspensions I could use him immediately:

Lιon Oost (36625694)
17 jaar, passable in vorm, healthy
Een controversial person persoon die calm en honest is.
Hij heeft disastrous ervaring en is een weak leider.

Nationaliteit: Nederland
Total Skill Index (TSI): 170 (17 000 €)
Wage: 580 €/week
Owner: Shabba FC
Warnings: 0

Stamina: wretched Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: passable
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: inadequate

Career Goals: 1
Career Hattricks: 0
League goals this season: 1
Cup goals this season: 0

I listed him for transfer, since I really need cash. Since he's young someone might be tempted to buy him.

That's pretty good. Hopefully he sells for a decent sum of money. After two lucky solid pulls, I had two inads that didn't sell (and are now at a golf course near you).

He got sold for 17 000 €. I had expected a bit more, but I'm not complaining.
I guess that for a real good trainee his playmaking is too low. Or it could have something to do with the poor performance of the transfer market server, and the limitation of the number of transfer searches one can do.
He got bought by a newbie, I sure hope he's going to train him but I doubt it.
I've been investing 20k for 9 weeks now, I can't wait till it rises to excellent. I sure could use more of these pulls (especially those 17 y.o. with solid scoring, since I need more trainees).

Two of my trainees are from my own school, good pulls sure help you save money purchasing trainees. My school is also close to excellent but no fabulous players so far. On of my Romanian friends got very lucky pulls last week. Solid defender with some passing sold for 1.2 million €.

My wife also got a youngster she sold for 700k €. Their school is also solid waiting to get excellent. I'm patiently waiting my turn and so should you.

One player sold for

My YS became excellent this week, and I pulled a solid 18 year old winger with horrible secondaries. I listed him for more than he'll probably get, but if he doesn't sell I might try playing him myself.
