I was really really hoping it was this. I have (after deleting cookies from my browser) forgot myself and tried to look at isdg forum before, and got the problem message - so we all know that part works.
Never pulled this up to accuse anyone of cheating, but rather to fix security issues, if there were any. I have reason to believe the young one is a trustworthy fellow, but this was too strange to let go of. PP or Dan, have you found out what happened?

Thanks Rik, thanks for clearing this situation up. Next time anyone sees this, please post here right away when you see it so I can try to identify what forum I was in that caused it.

Active Topics doesn't always behave in the way you would expect.
When we first made the ISDG forum it was visible but only allowed members to enter. Unfortunatly Active Topics still showed the topic names to people without permission to view it, so we had to make the forum completely invisible to non-members. Because of this, if anyone clicks on a link to the hidden forum they will be refused access, but they will still appear in Active Users...

As far as I'm concerned the whole subject can be closed. It's the way the active users screen is programmed and as long as the limited access to the concerned fora is actually working, as it seems to be, I can live with that.
