I'm really sorry but I've been real busy and can't play tonight. I hope to get time enough tomorrow to do several turns.

That's OK. I have other SG's to play as well. So I couldn't play this today or tomorrow anyway.

My experience in the monster map SG of CFC (AG3) makes me wonder if I want to continue this one. There the interturns have been taking between an hour and THREE hours since Flight. The players need a least 5 days to play 5 to 10 turns. I am home a lot and still can only play 2 turns a day. This may be fun once -as an experiment (a weird one)- but I don't think I can bear it a 2nd time. For us to win we would certainly have to go so far. Conquest before that time is simply out of the question. The map is too big for that. Added to that I notice that there's only a minor interest to keep this running.
I'm very sorry that I am proposing to end it here, but somewhere the fun went for me. There's no challenge imho (we will win anyway) and it would now be just a matter of getting over the finish line. |

Unfortunately I agree Aggie. These games are fun but just take waaay to long, even with a powerful PC.
I've been meaning to get to this for ages now, but finding 2 hours to play a turn is a nightmare... At least we know we have won, which is when most the fun goes anyway.

Same for me and with my vacation coming up I'm too busy to take a turn before I leave. And when I left I obviously cant take any turns either so, better to end it here imo.

Agree because of the time required. Those 10 turns I played battling the Iroqs were fun and exciting but literally took my entire weekend, set aside 8 hours of sleep. Although I am tempted to play on until we fully own our "island" the outcome is very predictable.

anar, any change you can post the sav (in any state you've left it)? Just to see what I can learn from it and maybe play a couple of turns.
