Well it's not so much the money thing is that there is no strategy because who wouldn't call a $.1 bet to see a flop if they had even the slightest chance.

I sort of stopped out of loss of interest. I do play life occassionally.

Since bridge is so much larger, deeper and more difficult I went back to playing that.

Exactly. Poker is an interesting game from a stratecial point of view, but when played at low stakes (or no stakes at all) the strategy is minimalized due to the fact that calling any raise is just so damn cheap. Higher stakes would make the game more tactical, I think, but I simply don't have enough time to invest in poker to get really good at it so that those high stakes are even remotely feasible for me to play.

That being said, I definately like the game. Even at low stakes. But at low stakes only "tight" play really works for me. Any "loose" play tends to (for me anyway) end in getting called at the worst possible time
