Spoiler - Pound
My 1st multi-player pbem so I have no idea what to expect. Map is completely random, I'm the Russians and almost everyone else is and Agri civ. I chose my civ last, therefore, I'm an idiot for choosing the Russian
Turn 4 I meet grs's scout that's not good. We trade, I get alpha for BW, 10g, and 1gpt I liked that. I've popped 3 huts to justify my expansionist trait and got 25g, 25g, and the town of St. Pete's all the way down at the other side of the island. Figured that wouldn't hold for long. By turn 17, we've both explored enough to realize we're on an island. I figure an archer rush is coming. However, in a move that suprised me, grs contacts me via email before the 17th turn and offers an alliance. I accept because, quite frankly, without it, he'll wipe me off the island. At least now I can survive a little. I decide to push my luck and require that we cannot fight wars and he accepts Hopefully, he keeps his word and I can play a little longer to get the feel for large pbems. If he sneak attacks me, there's really not much I can do. he's got 3 cows, i got squat for food but I do have dyes and silks in my territory. As part of the agreement, I will gift 1 of the silks to him. Should be interesting.... |

i need a replacement for 1 week (May 14th thru 21st). Now much to do except kill barbs and send a settler (if the build finishes on your turns) 2T S, 1SW. (SW of gold hill, along river). 1st build of the new town is a worker.
