I've been burglarised
housemate rang me at work at 2pm, someone had forced the back window and kicked through the locked internal doors.
I am lucky, it appears all they got specifically of mine was a £20 note left on my desk (they missed the £60 cash in the draw) and half a spliff left in my ashtray(! - and they left the container with more in it...).
My good friend Doz in the next room was not so lucky, £5k+ of professional video and laptop, plus a nice big bag of bud. Also, he had about a years worth of film and music NOT BACKED UP
, now is probably not the time to remind him that I have been nagging him about having backups for critical data for a while...
The police have just left, very friendly and one of them was a dam fit wpc too
