No IA game - Spoiler - Swmming Pool
hello
so beware, this is spoiler / / / / / / / / / / // / / / / / / / / // / / / / / / / // so here is my start position. it is a rather nioce place, with spice, cattle, fish, tobaco and gold. http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/up...3_vikings1.jpg 23.12 KB |
after a few turns ...
things are going slowly; this is the main flaw of playing with 7 other guys. the good side is that we already began discussion (about tech essentially). http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/up...3_vikings2.jpg 33.4KB |
Things are going slow for this one. I've build my third cities and i'm still exploring the map. No special event to mention, unless for a barbarian which has killed a fortified vet warrior ... [aargh]

For a strange reason i've not build a mine over the cattle near Bergen, i've clean a forest over spice, but miscalculate the time for the bonus, and irrigated the area just after. This way i've been able to empty my capital of his population, thx to a settler production;
After that, i choose to build a fortified town in the hills, in case of a sudden invasion from (one of) my potent neighbor(s), Iroquois, perhaps ? Now everything is changing. I'm still not an optimizor player, but with a harbor coming to Bergen and a new mine on the cattle spot of Copenhagen, future seems a bit more positive. Our fleet shall soon evolves to galley ships, and a settler is to be send not far away, to catch some ivory (East). |
Iron working shall be discovered in a few turns, and another settler could be send in a (jungle) gems area, just North-W. I shall also send some spearment to explore 2 goody huts, on the west islands ...
I've build a good road network. Always useful, and good for treasury. I'm more or less allied with Carthago (North), which is at war with Inca. http://www.civ3duelzone.com/forum/up...mmingpool2.jpg 21.24KB |
