Just a tought. Wouldn´t it be even more awesome to have the banner also vertically mirrored and right aligned?

It looks nice indeed. I asked Mistfit if he could tweak the original (he couldn't be he made one from scratch) because it annoyed me that the old banner wasn't as wide as the page. Transparency seemed like it'd be a nice way to make it blend in with the site background, and I think that worked out fine. On this screen the banner seems a bit small, but on my phone for instance it looks just about right.

What's the hexadecimal code for pink?

Dunno really, but I'm sure there are sites that will let you pick a color from a palet and return the RGB numbers in hex.
